Abrasive Metering Valves
Sand Valve
Abrasive metering valve suitable for all expendable abrasives. 45 degree design aids abrasive flow into airstream and reduces wear on valve.
Minor Valve
Abrasive metering valve suitable for all abrasive types. Screw in metering knob allows very precise abrasive metering and reduces abrasive consumption. Low profile height permits fitting to almost any blast pot. 1 1/2" X 1 1/4" pipe nipple.
Major Valve - Tungsten
Similar operation to the minor valve except also has abrasive shut off feature. Can be set up on pressure hold pot to seal the tank and shut off abrasive flow, or on standard pot to shut off abrasive flow to the blast hose when the remote control handle is released to reduce abrasive wastage. Fitted with tungsten carbide internal sleeve to allow use with any abrasive.
Major Valve - Urethane
Similar operation to the minor valve except also has abrasive shut off feature. Can be set up on pressure hold pot to seal the tank and shut off abrasive flow, or on standard pot to shut off abrasive flow to the blast hose when the remote control handle is released to reduce abrasive wastage. Fitted with urethane internal sleeve, recommended for use with softer abrasives, ie plastic, glass beads, ceramic etc.
Grit Valve
Grit valve designed for use with metallic abrasives. Internal grit flow through the valve reduces valve wear.
Metering Valve
For use as an alternative to a ball valve with expendable abrasives. Screw in metering knob permits precise abrasive metering.
Pinch Valve
The pinch valve is used to shut off the abrasive and air flow through the blast hose after it leaves the metering valve.
